With our new SPEEDSCALE™ fabric, and many years of experience in custom fit and aerodynamic engineering – the Flow range of clothing takes a giant leap ahead of the competition.

SPEEDSCALE™ FABRIC

- Developed jointly by AeroCoach and Nopinz with over 14 months of CFD, wind tunnel and real world testing.

- Initial concepts analysed in the computer with AeroCoach’s industry leading experience of real world applicable CFD simulation, using 3D rider scans.

- Prototype fabrics constructed and wind tunnel tested using mannequins and a range of live riders, over a wide range of speeds. This resulted in a fabric with an aerodynamic drag 11-16% lower than a standard fabric from 40-55kph, and which remained consistent across all speeds.

- Full skinsuits constructed and tested on a range of different rider shapes and sizes, to determine the best cut and fabric placement over a wide rider range. Speeds from 40-65kph were analysed to ensure the suits’ performance in different competitive environments.

- UCI approved for the Paris Olympics.
