OVERSIZED GRIPS & EASY TRANSITION TO HIGH DROPS
The Blitz bar drops have a 28mm diameter, giving a larger surface area than standard bars to maintain a secure position.
As you move your hands up the drops, there is a smooth transition from the circular grip to an airfoil section, and an upper ledge to brace against when your hands are highest up the drops, for the lowest torso position achievable. In this hand position there is also a special airfoil shape which fits into your purlicue (between your thumb and forefinger).
MATERIAL
The Blitz bridge in particular improves stiffness by creating a brace structure across the tops section, allowing the bar to withstand extremely high forces without issue.
The chart below shows the wattage savings at 65kph for a standard rider of 186cm in height. Comparisons have been made against a normal round handlebar of 380mm width, as well as a track specific aero drop handlebar - the Blitz bar takes aerodynamics to another level with its custom airfoils, ergonomic shaped sections and Blitz bridge.
UCI LEGALITY
Blitz bars are fully UCI compliant, including under the updated UCI width regulations for track racing.
